Koyamaki Log Bowl for Food - Feeding Stand/Bowl - Sold Individually

It is 7.5cm tall.

Pet supply: Natural Koyamaki log wooden dish stand for cats and small dogs.

The surface has been torched, making the wood grain stand out more deeply and beautifully.

This is an original log food bowl.
Each base is carefully handmade, so the wood grain pattern differs for every piece.
It has the scent of natural Koyamaki (Japanese umbrella pine) (^^)
I have other food stands and water bowls listed as well!

The wooden dish stand has a high-quality feel and a design that is easy to match with your interior.
The glass cup dish is easy to remove, making it hygienic and simple to wash.

Since the log food stand has height, it helps prevent regurgitation for dogs and cats who tend to eat too quickly.

☆What is Koyamaki?☆
It is said that it was named Koyamaki because it grows abundantly on Mt. Koya, the headquarters of the Shingon sect in Wakayama Prefecture.
This item is made from those Koyamaki logs! It has a lovely scent (^^)

Koyamaki is also water-resistant and durable, which is why it is used for the boats in Japan's traditional "cormorant fishing" (ukai).

☆Koyamaki "Shareboku" (Weathered Wood)☆
Shareboku is timber created when wood is exposed to the elements in the natural mountains, causing the white outer portion to decay and disappear, leaving behind only the core.
Because it is the remaining portion, it is said to be rot-resistant and durable.

Local lumberjacks have told me that because this occurs naturally, it is rarely in stock (^^)
It is often used for high-end decorative objects and bonsai.
It is a type of lumber that rarely circulates on the market.
