☆What is Koyamaki?☆
It is said to have been named "Koyamaki" (Mt. Koya Pine) because it grows abundantly on Mt. Koya in Wakayama Prefecture, the headquarters of the Shingon sect of Buddhism.
This product is made from Koyamaki logs! It has a wonderful scent(^^)
Koyamaki is also known for being water-resistant and durable, and is even used for boats in the traditional Japanese "cormorant fishing" (ukai) method.
